UPC Renewables Indonesia initiate to develop Wind Farm Power in Lombok Timur, West Nusa Tenggara. After determining the optimum connection point, grid impact study will be conducted to analyze the impact of the Wind Power Plant to the system. Therefore, it is important to consider battery as a solution for the problems that may occur in this study. As we know, the battery itself has different objectives such as peak shifting, ramp rate control, and frequency stabilizing. Since the size of the power plant is quite big, the main idea to consider battery in Lombok Timur Wind Farm Power Plant is to fulfill frequency regulations because the battery can respond in sub seconds timeframes.
To confirm the suitability of this planned connection point and to precisely determine the capability of the Wind Power Plant and PLN network from both thermal and static and dynamic analysis perspective.
