CASE STUDY

UPC Renewables Indonesia initiate to develop Wind Farm Power in Timor System, East Nusa Tenggara, as planned in RUPTL 2021-2030. The main concern of this study is the frequency stability impact of this wind farm. In the existing system and based on development plan RUPTL 2021-2030, there will be several gas engine power plants in Timor System, namely Kupang Peaker and Kupang-2. Therefore, it is important to see the response of the gas engine when the power output of the wind farm fluctuates since the size of the power plant is quite big.

DELIVERABLES

To evaluate and analyze the load flow in Timor System with the Wind Farm Power Plant connected to the Grid and the performance of the system related when Wind Farm Power Plant operates especially with its intermittent characteristics.
